“Was There a Band Here Tonight?” is written by Krazy Kats member Lee Dresser. Lee writes about meeting and performing with various rock and country music performers, with humorous anecdotes at the music business. Includes several pages of photographs. Lee Dresser (1941-2014), a singer, guitar and harmonica player founded the rockabilly band 'The Krazy Kats' in 1957 in Kansas City along with high school classmates Fred Fletcher and Willie Craig. After a stint in Vietnam, he moved to Los Angeles, where he found employment as session musician for Danny Thomas, Dolly Parton, Merle Haggard and The Oak Ridge Boys.
